    Hurricane Season is Upon Us!

Thousands suffered tremendous losses in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina landed of the Gulf Coast.  Most who live here describe their lives in two sections - pre and post Katrina.

One woman in Mississippi suffered a total loss and in the same week, her husband emailed for divorce. She was abandoned with an infant child.  She had to secure her home, protect her child, and get to safety as Katrina churned in the Gulf.

Author Julie Freed shares her amazing story that epitomizes the resilience and survival of the Gulf Coast region. Her house and marriage violently disintegrate almost simultaneously. Watch what happens next:

Abandoned, Julie is surrounded by the rubble of her life -- stripped bare by love and loss. This is a true story of the strength and resilience of the Gulf Coast and that which Julie finds within - the purity of true love of self in us all.

Experience the hurt, loss, anger, intimate reflections, and ultimately the freedom as Julie's story unfolds.
