    A Report on C++ Workshop conducted by MPSTME students

    IEEE NMIMS – SHR, Student Branch MPSTME, Shirpur had organized a voluntary workshop on C++ programming in MPSTME, Shirpur Campus premises on 18th April 2014. Prof. S. S. Patil, Head EXTC Dept. inaugurated the workshop at 11:00 am and motivated the students by his inspirational inaugural speech. The Computer Center –I was fully occupied by the registered participants mainly from first year engineering including all branches. The total no. of participants attended the workshop was 42.


    This event is special in its own way as it is ‘For the students, By the students’. The main speakers of the event were the 2nd year students having expertise in C/C++ programming language, namely Mr. Ashish Inamdar and Mr. Shashi Prakash.


    Followed by the inaugural speech by Prof. S. S. Patil, the main event started sharp at. 11.15 am. The preliminary session is started by Mr. Shashi Prakash with very interactive manner. He started with various real life examples to provide better understanding of the topic. The participants were very much enjoying this type of learning by involving in most of the interaction with speaker. This was very interesting and interactive session which continued till 12.45 pm.


    Then the next session was taken over by Mr. Aashish Inamdar who focussed on application spectrum of C++. In his session he used lots of small programs explaining each and every detail about it. The participants were asking various doubts which was completely answered by speaker duo till the satisfaction of participants. The session was carried upto 2:30 pm.


    Finally, after the successful completion of main event, the students were asked about the feedback of workshop, two of them namely Ms. Vidushi Shrivastava and Mr. Ripauv Gohil appreciated the initiative taken by their seniors. At the end, vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Girish Patil ensuring to regularly carry out such type of student initiated events in near future.
