Lovely palm trees in my home province

I saw these palm trees in front of the Bohol Museum this afternoon. Growing up in Tagbilaran in Bohol, Philippines, I never paid much attention to these palm trees. They were part of the landscape, as ordinary as trees, palms were always...there.

My visit to the parking area for Panglao caused me to give palm trees a second look. There were three palm trees with red fruits. Very wonderful!

Then, while going to the St. Joseph Cathedral in Tagbilaran City, I saw these lovely three palm trees.

    Why three? I don't know.

Palms can grow here and I hope palms will be planted to beautify the city and to absorb air pollution.

    Just like in California.

My visit to California has given me the opportunity to appreciate palm trees.

I hope more palm trees to be planted in my place.
