    “Independence“

    Kerry Blecha

There is one God. It is a loving source of all physical, mental and spiritual things. God contains all creation; God is the source of all good. God’s blessings are endless. I seek to know the good of God in all things. I cannot be separated from Love, Peace, Health, Prosperity, Beauty, Joy. My creative nature flows from God as gracefully as sunshine. For God has given me the power and the freedom to create the life I chose.

So as I prepare to celebrate our political independence I take time to contemplate my spiritual independence. Free will is built into me. It is the God given blessing that allows me to create my independent life. As I move closer to Spirit in my life I attract the people and the blessings to create the life and the world I want to live in.

Spiritual independence does not mean separation from God. For, I can never be separated from God. Spiritual independence can only be obtained by realizing the Oneness of God and the nature of free choice. All is One and I am a unique expression of the Oneness. I celebrate my Spiritual independence. Political independence is a special gift; it is well that it is celebrated. Political independence is only one aspect of spiritual Independence. It can only be obtained by understanding the unity and the oneness of All.

Along with the fireworks and the hot dogs the baseball and the roasted corn I give thanks to God for free will. I am so grateful for my life, my ability to choose and the power to manifest. I am thankful for political independence for I know that it is a part of the spiritual independence that God has given to everyone, everywhere.

I accept God’s blessings. I affirm the gift of independence for it has been bestowed upon me though God’s love.
