Compass to Success: Convergex Caribbean, Limited

The greatest casualty is being forgotten. This is what the Wounded Warrior Project stands for and the charitable organization makes it a mission to foster a successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members through cordial engagement, economic empowerment and other interactive approaches. The organization is dedicated to assisting and catering to the needs of veterans and service members, along with their families, who suffered a physical or mental injury on or after September 11, 2001.

In support of American service members, Convergex Caribbean, Limited makes monthly contributions to the Wounded Warrior project and donates an additional $1000.00 in the name of each client of Convergex Caribbean, Limited in the name of the Client. Convergex is a company committed to assisting business owners navigate the world of private, offshore financial commerce by arranging meetings with private investors. The company prides itself on sophistication and professionalism, only permitting this opportunity by invitation or petition. The services of Convergex are designed to highlight project goals and maximize project funding.

“We serve as the facilitator between the business in need of funding and the private investors,” said Christine Fulginiti. “We look for precise matches in our clients as the funding sources have very narrow interests.”

These narrow interests include companies involved in alternative energy, medical technology, real estate, entertainment and humanitarian projects.

“Humanitarian projects often qualify for funding, as our investors are eager to provide funding for them,” she said. “If there is a project in a developing country, we will have a source for it.”

In addition to contributing to the Wounded Warrior Project and assisting promising businesses with funding, Convergex Caribbean, Limited also supports a number of other organizations. The company has proudly sponsored the Maryland Hispanic Business Conference for five consecutive years. The Conference serves over 40,000 Hispanic businesses in Maryland with an array of workshops, training and business sessions that emphasize the importance of relationship building and creating opportunities for business promotion. Convergex also routinely contributes to the Fisher House Foundation as another way to demonstrate support for our U.S. Military and military families.
