    President’s immigration plan: Your views

I saw Jose Vargas on Ashleigh B.'s show today. He is a success story, but there are many that are not. He mentioned Ellis Island Immigrants, (Italians, Germans), that those children were allowed over here. However, back then in 1800's, early 1900s they had plenty of room. Now this Country is taxed beyond belief with Immigrants. I met a guy in a resume workshop that was on his 3rd kid, from Haiti (I'm not prejudiced). However, he was on total Welfare, his wife didn't or couldn't work. He was under the assumption that the Gov't was going to buy him a car also. It is getting out of control. Something has to be done. My Great-grandparents came here from Italy/Sicily, and they worked very hard, had to go to back of the line, and had to learn the language. They were amazing people, they helped build schools/churches. They gave back. I just heard on my local news, that a City is taking 1,000 of these kids that just came over the border. They already have 5,000 students, now there will be 6,000. The taxpayers are going to have to pay for this. Also, where will they live and who will support them? Okay, I just wanted to re-but what Jose said. He is a success story, but it is getting ridiculous. Thank you.
