    More protests against Cavalli

Today, hundreds of Sufis gathered for the second consecutive week outside Harrods in London and Roberto Cavalli store on Sloane Street. This was the third demonstration in London by the #TakeOffJustLogo campaign. Other protests have been held in Paris, NY, LA, Houston, Washington, Dallas, San Francisco and Dusseldorf,
Despite the heavy rainfall, the protestors stood their ground and stood for what they believed in. Many shoppers stopped and spoke to the protestors and signed up to the petition on as a result. The ultimate goal of the protests was to raise awareness of Roberto Cavalli's misuse of their sacred Sufi emblem which has been legally trademarked for 27 years. Two years ago Roberto Cavalli rebranded his Just Cavalli range, changing his original logo to one that is almost identical to the Sufi emblem. The Sufis will continue their campaign until Cavalli takes down the logo from all his merchandise which extends from swimwear, clothing and accessories to perfumery and jewellery.
