Mexicans angry about klm tweet after Orange winning soccer match
International is excited response to a tweet that airline KLM sent shortly after the Dutch victory over Mexico. "Adios Amigos!" Tweeted @ KLM, with a picture of the Departures board at the airport, where a symbol of a man with sombrero was seen.
KLM deleted the tweet after three quarters, but not before the message was retweeted. Than 8000 times That was done by Dutch who could appreciate the joke, but also a lot of angry Mexicans.
Actor Gael Garcia Bernal, known Y tu mamá también, was furious: "I'll never fly with you fucking society Fuck you big time.".
"Lack of respect and ethics. HUEVOS Putos" twitters another angry Mexican. "As a Dutch airline laughs at us," complains a third.
"This was offensive, politically incorrect and opportunistic. Well done, KLM, this is exactly what you should not do on social media. # FAIL", says a Mexican advertising sarcastic.
The Mexican airline Aeromexico chose a mild reaction. The company tweeted for the national team a picture of the sign Arrivals, with the text "Thank you for this great championship, we are proud of you and waiting at home."
It is not the first time that a Dutch tweet noise caused on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. A tweet from Nicolette van Dam, with a cartoon of two Colombian players who line up on the field, sniffing, cost her the ambassador of UNICEF.
A tweet from the Rijksmuseum on the eve of the match against Spain garnered widespread praise correct. "We've beaten them before," twittered the museum, with a picture of the Battle of Gibraltar in 1607.
On Monday KLM has laconically responded to the commotion last night caused a funny tweet referred to the elimination of Mexico at the World Cup.
