    Is poor people asleep?

I think poor people are asleep because they dont know the government. Some poor people are asleep because they dont see that the communities is being taken over.
Most depend on others for the social services. Lets me explain.

First the government has a duty to make sure all citizens are to be treated equally. The government is also in the business of control. Governments control the world. The government can track everything you do. Trust me when I say, big brother knows.

Now the communities, foreigners are coming in and owning the majority of the businesses. Slum lords have invaded the communities. Lies are being told. Drugs have infested the communities.

Last is social services. Now let me state that if you need help, seek it. To those who need help, do what you have to do to get it. But I feel its bad that some people depend on social services because it keep you in a box. Your mind.
Also it doesn't give you the ability to explore.

So I have a question how does one get that way to where they are asleep to what's going on? What are your thoughts? All views are welcome.
