40,000 Comic Book, Sci-fi, Anime, and Video Game fans converge in Miami for the South Florida Supercon

July 3rd-6th thousands of fans of Comic Books, Science Fiction, Anime, and Video Games are attending the massive event known as the South Florida Supercon.

From photo opportunities with celebrities and meet ups with comic book artists, to elaborate costume competitions and even a retro arcade, this event has something for everyone.

As a host of panel on the topic of Life & Leadership Lessons from Videogames at this years’ Supercon, I am most interested in the excellent representation from the gaming industry.

Big names like Sony were present with their latest hardware on hand to try out, as well as smaller developers like Yacht Club Games offering demos of their very successful Shovel Knight to attendees.

A selection of classic arcade cabinets and pinball machines are available for unlimited play, as well as a “retro game lounge” where games systems from the 80’s and 90’s were set up for players to enjoy.

The event is being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and complete details can be found on the official website: http://floridasupercon.com/
