    The App Store: Life Changing

Up to 1.2 billion people worldwide were using mobile apps at the end of 2012. Anywhere from 56 billion to 82 billion apps were downloaded globally in 2013.

Many of these apps fall under the genre of self-help apps. This short video is meant to explore how self help apps are defined, utilized and integrated into the the daily lives of individuals and how that in turn may shape our culture.

My colleague and I are currently doing our Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication at the University of Royal Roads. This film was for one of our classes.
