Piermont, NY Celebrates Bastille Day
The quaint town of Piermont, NY celebrated their 5th annual Bastille Day Celebration. The main street was closed to traffic to allow visitors to enjoy the live music performances, to eat at local restaurants and do some shopping.
A guillotine was on display for photo opportunity as well as the reenactment of the storming of the Bastille. The mayor of the town and several festival goers came in period costumes. Colorful old French cars were lined up for visitors to enjoy.
