    Explore Binondo, Chinatown


    Consider to be one of the oldest Chinatown in the world is Binondo, Chinatown and it is located in Manila, Philippines. Binondo was established in 1594. One of the popular tourist spot is the Binondo Church and the church is the home of the Our Lady of China and in front of the church is Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz (it is named after St. Lorenzo Ruiz, a Filipino-Chinese Saint).


    When walking along Ongpin st. you will find Chinese restaurants, groceries and herbal stores. You can see also selling fruits, vegetables in carts along the road. There is also a street name Carvajal, where you can find those chinese delicacies from sea cucumber, tofu, and other foods. It is like small wet market.


    Once your done with your shopping, there are good restaurants and eateries that you can explore and taste different delicacies from siopao, noodles and many more.


    Now you know the reason, why Binondo, Chinatown is considered one of the best Chinatown in the world.
