    Buenos Aires Post-World Cup Riot

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Freelance photographer Jerry Nelson had an “exhilarating” experience observing and documenting the riots after Argentina’s World Cup finals loss to Germany. The American expat watched as Buenos Aires police confronted protesters with tear gas, while protesters threw rocks and bottles. “With the smoke from burning fires, which the rioters lit, and the tear gas from the police, the ‘scene’ was surreal in a strange sort of way,” he said.
