Change Your Life: The Brothers Who Took Control
One of my best friends at Loyola-New Orleans, John, was unhappy with how he felt about himself. It was as most who are unhappy with how they feel do. They have a breakdown moment where they know they be a better version of themselves. They look deep into their own souls and make the commitment. I was fortunate enough to watch nearly the entire transformation as John nearly lost 170 lbs. He ate better, rode the bike, eventually was running, and was staying committed.
His younger brother, Eric, quickly took suit. He noticed his brother was living a better life. He was more equipped for more activities and living a lifestyle he wanted to live. His brother quickly followed in his older brothers footsteps, asking questions and started his own journey.
Today, some of my best friends still, John and Eric Vo continue to lead happy lives and exercise is a daily routine for both. Their stories have been incredible to watch by their side.
Watching their commitment to their craft further compels me to make exercise a daily routine in my life. Nothing can be accomplished without taking a goal and simplifying it down to a day at a time. John and Eric are an incredible example to live by and I cherish their friendship everyday.
