CNN PRODUCER NOTE     The power has been out for more than 24 hours in the town of Virac in Catanduanes, Philippines, after Typhoon Rammasun tore through the area Tuesday. iReporter and Instagram user Ken Kozma says his family is currently using a generator to power the house.

“The wind was absolutely astounding. As we walked through the town (Virac) during the climax of the storm, we were literally being tossed around by these amazing gusts,” he said. “The trees looked like toys being thrown around by a child. The rain felt like sharp pellets piercing our skin riding the wind at unimaginable speeds.”

Kozma shared these videos shot on July 15 with CNN iReport from his Instagram account, @amzok11.
