    A window with a view

When I worked for The Seattle Times, we used the Troy Laundry Building to park our vans and as extra storage. This building had lots of character and I fortunately documented its place in history with my photography before it was recently torn down to make way for a new mega structure. ( Which can be viewed here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/nature-and-i/sets/72157645311790078/ )
Now with just the old facade remaining and to be incorporated into the new structure, I saw a shot I wanted to capture as it won't exist much longer. Wanting to get it near sunset, I chose to shoot in HDR to bring out the shadows of the old facade of the Troy Laundry Building and get the Space Needle in the window. A chain link fence surrounds the property, so a good perspective is limited by the gaps between the links.
