    Orion over Mt. Princeton

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     William Helms interest in the night sky began when he was a child and continued as he became a professor of physics and astronomy in his adulthood. Helms who is currently retired said, "The night sky is peaceful and soothing. I like being out at night. This mountainous area in Colorado has clear skies without much light pollution."
    - taliaday, CNN iReport producer

The constellation of Orion, the Hunter, appears to hover over snow-covered Mt. Princeton after sunset on a beautiful spring evening in Chaffee County, Colorado. This photo was taken on the evening of April 15, 2014, a few hours before the start of the lunar eclipse. The full moon was low enough in the sky to illuminate the mountain, but not wash out the stars.
