Bring Back Our Girls Photo Campaign

I started a photography campaign for the #bringBackOurGirls cause with friends; with the #bringBackOurGirls written on a cardboard. I noticed that there are no more rallies on the street as it used to be months ago .

I called a few friends who I know in the entertainment industry and the professional industry; some are well-known Nigerian celebrities like Yeni, the daughter of late activist Fela Anikulapo kuti and Banky W and a host of others, that are not as popular. However, the essence of the initiative is just to lend a voice to the #bringBackOurGirls campaign and while the government has banned protest in some other parts of the country, They may not be able to stop the protest online.

The Idea behind it is to lend a voice to the #bringbackourgirls cause. This is photography for change; and this is the only way I can lend my voice. My philosophy about this project is to lend our little voices to create awareness about the social ills in our country and stand against terrorism, It’s been more than three months now and the girls are yet to be found. .
I believe we will look silly if we don't do what we can because we feel it is too little.
