    The HOTTEST radio station around Hot Jamz 1570!!!


    If you live anywhere in Northeast Ohio, you might have noticed a station playing upbeat R&B, hot jamz 1570.


    The station, which is located on am 1570 and goes by the call letters WHTX, is based out of Warren Ohio, and is the area’s answer to the now defunct Jamz 101.9.


    The station which is owned by Sagittarius Communications, LLC, is playing a mixture of R&B from the 80’s to now, has everything from the classics like Stevie Wonder to the current hits from Robin Thicke and everything in between.


    “The programming leans towards the 25-54 demographic and has something for everyone” say’s owner Nelson Cintron, Jr, who also owns la nuevama tropical WYCL-AM 1540 in Niles, The area’s only Spanish station.


    The station also features the popular Tom Joyner Morning show, the afternoon Doug Banks Show, and nighttime show with Lenny Green.


    The station which has had a long history in the area started out in October 1955 as WHOT, and has been through every format from talk radio to country radio and everything in between and has found its niche as being a voice for the urban community of both Warren and Youngstown.
