This iReport is part of an assignment:
Final presidential debate |
great debate OBAMA wins on...
Finally a debate of substance. Great questions.
Obama stood out with:
when he defended his position on NAFTA and free trade agreements.
He said we need to do what is in the best interest of the american people and our nation, keep jobs at home, but not compromise our stance on human rights (his opposition to columbia free trade for human rights violations).
On Govt. spending and Programs:
Great when Obama kept saying NO to across the board budget cuts with a hatchet (as McCain advocates) but said we need to go line by line "with a scalpel". He said we need to cut the programs that work and keep the ones that don't.
On EDUCATION:
And for those who desire higher education, I loved when obama said we need to INVEST IN AMERICAN PEOPLE and in those who want to be engaged and participate. That we need to renew sacrifice, service, and responsibility.... that really resonated with me.
On Healthcare:
When Obama said that coverage for all, but if you like your plan you can keep it.. for those who cant afford, a plan equivalent to that of govt. employees
Also, when Obama said we need to invest in information technology to make it more efficient and mentioned PREVENTIVE CARE
Obama has the best plan for middle class and turning our country around.
