The Atlanta Masjid hosted an Interfaith Iftar (fast breaking meal) this past Thursday evening to complete the 19th day of the Ramadan fast. Imam Mansoor Sabree welcomed many of Atlanta's foremost faith bridge builders to share their thoughts and persona with the Muslim Community in the midst of the fasting month. Pastor Buddy Hoffman, Rabbi Mario Karpou, Rev. Kate McGregor Mosley, and Buddhist Gareth Young delighted the audience with fasting insights from unique and diverse faith perspectives. During the meal, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims and others intermingled and enjoyed the spirit of faith, thoughtfulness, generosity, and religious neighborliness that sincere interfaith exchange and collaboration inspires. "We can know a good in common that we cannot know alone."
