Masha Lopatova Kirilenko is a entrepreneur and fashion industry specialist originating from Moscow, Russia. Ms. Kirilenko obtained a master’s degree in TV and Video Production from St Martin’s College and then returned to Moscow to work in the budding, post perestroika, Russian entertainment industry.
After her return from London, Masha opened a sports and entertainment marketing firm that represented important Russian entertainers and athletes. It was in this work that she eventually met her husband, then a CSKA basketball player, Andrei Kirilenko. They married in 2001 and soon after moved to the US where Andrei began his NBA career.
In 2006 Masha began working in the fashion industry, opening several boutiques in the US and Russia, as well as forming partnerships to distribute American Contemporary brands in Russia. Seeking out new business opportunities in the consulting sector, Masha combined forces with famous Russian stylist, Marina Dolidze to form Fashion IQ Russia in 2011. A fashion consulting firm that put fashion education first, for both its high profile Russian private clients, up coming Russian designers; a company that focused heavily on partnerships with the premier style icons of Russia’s increasingly influential luxury fashion sector.
It proved to so successful that in 2013, when she moved to NYC with her family, Masha decided to bring her company, Fashion IQ, with her.
