We went to the Chiang Mai Zoo in Thailand last year, and one of the attractions was to go to an animal show. If a kid in the crowd wanted to hold the bird, they just had to stand up and hold their arm straight out while holding some money. The cockatoo would then fly over the heads of the audience, land on the arm, take the money in his mouth, and fly back to the bottom of the arena. This picture was taken as the cockatoo was taking his money back to the stage. He flew so low that he actually hit me in the head with his wing only a millisecond after I took this picture. In the background you can see a few other kids waiting for their turn with their arms out.
