Ludacris, Estelle and Frank Kesi represent Multiculturalism at the International Festival in Largo
The Boulevard at Capital Centre in Largo hosted its first International Festival on July 12 and 13 2014. With a robust representation of African Americans, Latinos, Asians and Africans, the organizers of the event successfully drew over 12,000 people, in order to inform them on finance, health, technology and employment opportunities in Prince George's County.
In order to be the right platform for a diverse community, the event was also an international musical treat with performers from different parts of the globe including U.S. rapper Ludacris, British artist of African and Caribbean roots Estelle, and Ethiopian-born soul artist Wayna.
To further celebrate multiculturalism, world beat artist Frank Kesi was chosen by the radio station for interactive hip hop and RnB WKYS to perform as the International Artist of the 2014 edition.
In time for his performance at the International Festival, Frank Kesi released his first E.P entitled Mr. Pleasure. Through 6 incomparable sonic experiences, Kesi brought together elements of African, Caribbean and American music, which are adequately so, a representation of multiculturalism.
