    Was on scene with iReporter James Brierton -

    The protest escalated after a number of veterans protesting demanded access to the Debate. The entire group of protesters marched across Hempstead Turnpike to the campus entrance - blocking the entire road. Police used horses and tactical officers to push the ground back. At least one was arrested; one recieved minor injuries when she was stepped on by a police horse.
