This iReport is part of an assignment:
Final presidential debate |
First time voter
I am almost 33 years old.
Out of those "almost" 33 years there have been "almost" 15 years that had I chose to register to vote, I could have voted.
Honestly I never really cared until this year.
When my middle class family started struggling to get by and there is really not much to cut back on anymore I started caring.
And for the first time in "almost" 15 years I registered to vote.
I have spent the last few months reading endless articles about both candidates.
Paying attention to the fact checking.
Visiting almost every major news sources web sites so that I could get ALL the information I could pertaining to each candidate and feel as if I am making an informed choice when I go to the polls for the first time in my life.
I so want to be an informed voter and not base my vote on e-rumors, or local public perception.
Out of everything I have read I must say that several of my views lean towards a republican ticket.
I live in a "red" state after all.
But after 3 televised presidential debates, one vice president debate, all the slams, the insults, the fact checking, the web sites, the videos, the news articles, and just my own personal opinion, me, myself, and I.......
Kara "Jo"
...the first time voter.....
am going to the polls on November the 4th and voting for the Muslim, anti patriotic, terrorist befriending, baby killing, black man.
( No disrespect intended Mr. Obama)
