    If you are a loyal Market Basket customer, I am sure you are aware of the problems surrounding the recent firing of Arthur T. DeMoulas. Employees want their beloved CEO back and are risking their own jobs in order to save his. I find that type of devoted loyalty to be commendable, especially during a time when most people only think of number one. Market Basket is a familiar store to many with friendly and helpful employees. The food variety is plentiful, the food quality is excellent and the prices are low. What more could customers ask from their local market?


    I personally visited the Tilton, New Hampshire store the morning of July 23rd, and was saddened to realize the store had to temporarily close due to the dispute and boycott. The large parking lot in front of the market was empty, but the streets heading to the parking lot were full of employees and customers in support of Arthur T. DeMoulas. It was remarkable to see so many supporters – management, employees and customers joining together in their desire to bring back Arthur T. DeMoulas!


    If you want to help bring back their beloved Arthur T. DeMoulas and save Market Basket from closing forever, then show your support any way you can. Sign a petition, honk as you drive by the multitude of market basket stores or read more about their plight on Market Basket’s new Facebook account recently created entitled “SAVE ARTIE T. & SAVE MARKET BASKET!!” The Facebook account already has over 16,000 members.
