    Who would believe it

     
    John Lennon strolled into NWS9, Adelaide in 1964 and had casual chat for an hour or so with local TV host Ernie Sigley. It was all quite informal, but the camera rolled.
    Next day Sigley came in to view the tape and the technician said, "oh you didn't want that did you? I wiped it. Up to 90 minutes of John Lennon History vanished from the world at the flick of a switch.
