    Silicon city remains shut down for the day


    BANGALORE, INDIA - JUL 31, 2014 - Pro associations in Karnataka enforces city for complete shutdown till this evening to protest against the sexual assaults to women and children. Police authorities assures security and allotted reserve forces in the sensitive areas. However, some private organizations, public transports, banks, schools & colleges operates as usual.


    India is no more safe for women and children, series of rape cases were reported since past few months for which the state government have not taken any measures to prevent sex crimes and to provide security for women and children; there are laws but no conviction, says protesters.
