    Union Square Park Pro-Palestinian Protest

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Dino Koljenovic is a New York resident who attended a Pro-Palestinian protest in Union Square on July 30. Koljenovic said, "I went to the protest to see how my city feels about this big problem that's happening in Middle East. The protest was peaceful. The authorities did not respond, and there was no need for them to do so."

On Wednesday, July 30th New Yorkers got together at Union Square Park to pay tribute to the innocent civilians that lost their lives in the ongoing unrest between Isreal and Gaza. Protestors lied on the ground, holding the names of those who died, preteding to be dead, while two of the organizers read the names out loud.
