    Essential Art, Goodness Grows!

The founder of www.EssentialArt.org Michelle Finnegan is usually quite private, keeping busy behind the scenes. In recent months however, we’ve seen a lot more of Michelle Finnegan and if the first half of the year indicates where Essential Art is growing, we can hardly wait to watch it in full bloom!
At the close of last year, Michelle Finnegan, founder of www.EssentialArt.org was seen attending Art Basel events such as “Kink” with fellow artist Mia Tyler, actress Liv Tyler and musician Steven Tyler, the day after launching “Dancing under the Stars” with Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Mercato with Roman Gomez.
On February 1, 2014, Essential Art founder Michelle Finnegan stepped out to support her sorority sister Ashley Judd who is an actress as well as activist and educator with a Masters in Public Administration from JFK School of Government at Harvard University. Miss Finnegan used to work at the Harvard School of Government years before becoming a student of Harvard herself.
By March, Michelle Finnegan established another scholarship through a partnership with Essential Art and DKE fraternity. “Woolly Urby” is an official limited edition print in the www.PrintsOfFreedom.com portfolio. Essential Art previously established www.AlyceNashMemorialScholarship.info with proceeds from “Creating Freedom Rocks” a children’s book Miss Finnegan wrote and illustrated in memory of her friend, Alyce “Sandy” Nash, one of the first female officers during WWII and curator of the Naples Philharmonic and Naples Art Museum, now the Baker Museum at Artis.
Recording artist Covan Magee, who is also a military veteran dedicated one of his songs to link to the Essential Art Contemporaries and benefit Essential Art and the legacy of Alyce Nash.
This June Michelle Finnegan, founder of www.EssentialArt.org, is scheduled to complete her Master Gardener training. If you have questions about plants or trees in the SWFL area she welcomes you to send them to her through her Facebook page Michelle Finnegan, the artist, or Essential Art. She will try to answer all questions or refer all questions to someone who can advise. You can also follow her on Twitter and Instagram @EssentialBlonde.
