    New York for Gaza

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     A diverse group of more than a thousand protesters crowded the streets of New York City to rally for peace and justice for the Palestinians. College student Dino Koljenovic was at the scene and photographed demonstrators holding up signs and photos. The diversity of the rally, made up of what he believes were Americans, Muslims, Christians and Jews, struck him. “A lot of people with different background, a lot of people of different professions, religions, nationalities, stood as one and asked for the exact same thing, which was peace,” he said. “To me that was the beauty of the protest.”
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

On August 1st, New Yorkers protest in support of Gaza. Hundreds of people got together at Columbos Cirlce and took a peacful walk towards the Fox News Building where rally ended.
