Flycatcher Babies Have Hatched in SoCal Desert

The Babies have hatched! The parents have been working very, very hard feeding their new babies. We don't know how many there are but Mom & Dad are taking some BIG bugs to them all day long. We are going into the 2nd week of obvious feeding. A very interesting aspect of feeding time is that Mom 'announces' her arrival with a very sweet voice. This I guess lets the babies know she's coming in & not to be afraid. It's nice for me too, because if I am outside I have a few seconds to get my camera up & a photo taken. I have tried to capture the parents coming & going in pics & video. The other day alone I had taken 90 pics/video when I downloaded to the computer...only ended up with 20 that I used. My gift to y'all to enjoy this new little family.
I have one photo of him or her (not sure because they look very similar) sitting on top of their home with a Walking Stick Bug for dinner for the kids. Wow, what a meal! The Dad will sit nearby & sometimes peek his head in the door...moral support? Too cute!
I have also noticed that Mom has a bit of trouble getting back out of the house when she goes down inside...I'm wonder how many or how BIG those babies are? LOL I have a phot which shows her with her feather Ruffled, to show you the tough life of a Mom!
We hear and/or see her first thing when the sun is rising & all through the day until sunset. The other day when we got RARE MUCH NEEDED RAIN (Yeah), the little thing was feeding the babies.
    What Great Parents!
I'm keeping a close eye at a safe distance so as not scare them, althoug I think they know they are safe here. I am hoping to get some great pics/video when the babies try to get the nerve to get out & FLY!
It's quite hot here most days, although a bit cooler with the rain & humidity recently. When I am filling the water bowls around the yard I make sure to make a good 'rain shower' up over the top of their home. I hope it cools them down a bit & maybe they get a little shower inside.

Photo1-Walking Stick in mouth, 2) Just arrived for feeding, 3,4) Roughed up a bit at feeding time, 5) arriving to feed Video 1) Ooops 2) Arriving to feed, you can hear her soft voice announcing her arrival, Video 3) Food Fight - look what she goes through in there & fights her way out, oh my, Video 4) Off for more FOOD!  I am picturing 5 Lb. Babies growing in there.
    Ahhhhhhhhhh. :)
Note: I have Killed my Kodak Easyshare Z710 Camera...just a basic PointAndShoot with a few adjustments. I have ordered a new one (sadly not my Z710, out of production). She was a great little camera that gave me Thousands of fun hours!
