    Salute to troops

    If only he knew!!!!

Rodney Strakos retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 25 years at St. Mayers Georgia so that he could spend more time with his wife Annie, his 12 year old son Brendan and moved to St. Cloud, Florida.

Rodney took a job driving a bus in Orlando. One day while driving his route someone asked Rodney if he had been drinking because of his speech, he told the passenger no, but he might feel better if he had.  Rodney's supervisor told him to go home and go to the hospital.  So he did that same day just to find out that he has an inoperable brain tumor and now the doctors give him only 1 to 5 years to live.

Rodney had to quite his job as a bus driver, because he could no longer drive and his wife Annie had to quite her job just to stay home and take care of him. Now their daughter had to move in with them along with  her new baby girl.

They have no money, no job and can't meet their monthly bills, but they seam to have much more than money could ever buy!!  They have each other and their love. Spending day to day not knowing just how long or what tomorrow will bring.

Rodney, still staying strong for his family. He post almost daily his stat's on his facebook page of his good days as well as his bad days.

Rodney is such a good friend to all that knows him, a great husband to Annie and loving father and step grandfather to Brendon,. April and little miss Audrey who is not even a year old.

Just want to say Rodney we love you and are so proud of you for all that you are.
