Welcome to the petting zoo. My barnyard pals came back!

I had a great time at the 76th annual Feast of St. Rocco in Glen Cove. I ate too much, and won a prize, but one of the best attractions was the petting zoo.
Green Meadows farms in Floral Park, Long Island brought their wonderful barnyard animals back to the feast again this year.
I saw them last year and was hoping they would come back and they did!
This one sheep got so much bigger in one year they had to keep him in a pen because last year he was smaller but kept stealing everyone's lettuce behind their backs.
All the animals are super friendly and well cared for. They give you Romaine lettuce leaves at the entrance gate. But you have to watch out. They stick their heads out of their pens and steal your lettuce before you know it.
The guy in the last picture has been tending the animals for a few years. He has two more years to go before he is a vet. I have a feeling when he does he may stay on at Green Meadows. He gets along well with these animals..
    Thank you.
