    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Makahiki shared photos of long lines of cars at water refill stations in Puna, Hawaii. He said residents are making hurricane preparations in advance of the storm’s arrival later today. “Some people are nervous, definitely,” he said. “But most of the residents here are savvy to making it through tough weather."     Hilo, Puna, and Ka'u residents on the Big Island of Hawaii are expecting to receive the brunt of the hurricane which will make landfall later today.
    With water in stores sold out and water machines empty, residents are turning to emergency Spigots for water. Long lines have formed at both water spigot stations and waste transfer stations.
