    Glasgow, Scotland

Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and is renowned for its culture, style and the friendliness of its people.

Glasgow offers a blend of internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries, stunning architecture, vibrant nightlife, great shopping and a diverse array of restaurants and bars.

The city has a long-standing reputation for its live music scene.

The equestrian Wellington Statue, most often featured with a traffic cone on its head, on Royal Exchange Square, is one of the city's most iconic images. Capping the statue with a traffic cone has become a traditional practice in the city, claimed to represent the humor of the local population and believed to date back to the first half of the 1980's, if not before.
