    Costco Madness Prior to Hurricane

HONOLULU, HI: Costco madness in Hawaii as experienced by Austin, Texas family.

Hours before opening a couple hundred people lined up in front of Coscto to stock up on supplies prior to the arrival of hurricane Iselle. Unfortunately, Costco as well as other local stores were out of bottled water.

Iselle is the first hurricane to make Hawaiian landfall since 1992. Oddly 1992 is the same year Kit and John Storms were married, 23 years ago. The Storms family from Austin, Texas decided to arrive in Hawaii 2 days early when they noticed that their family vacation plans might be interrupted by travel delays. The Storms family went to Costco to stock up on supplies to ride out the impending storm. The whole Storms family is excited at the opportunity to live up to their namesake and experience a hurricane first hand.

Wish us luck as we enjoy our Storm chasing vacation!
