Siclovia-San Antonio's Largest Health and Wellness Event!

The Y proudly hosts Síclovía-San Antonio's largest health and wellness event- twice a year and is made possible through the support of the City of San Antonio.

Síclovía is a free event that turns major city streets in to a safe place for people to exercise and play. The streets become temporarily car-free for about 5 hours on Sundays for families to run, ride bikes, take exercise classes and enjoy their city streets. At our last Síclovía in March we had a record breaking crowd of 70,000+ that came out "to play in the streets."

Through Siclovia we have seen some significant impacts!
    70% of participants are families.
47% of participants are trying an activity for the first time.
50% of participants are utilizing resources and doing other health and wellness events throughout the year.
The Y, along with the support of the Mayor's Fitness Council, HEB, and the City of San Antonio, are truly moving the dial of health and wellness in San Antonio! We will be hosting or sixth Siclovia in September! Viva Siclovia!
