Most of the State was spared as the brunt of damage occured in the eastern half of Hawai'i Island. These photos are from the district of Puna where many residents are without power and unable to leave their homes due to blocked roads by fallen trees and power lines. Relief supplies ran out this morning as residents waiting in line for emergency supplies at the Pahoa fire station were turned away.
