Thousands of Americans Gather in Guadalajara, Mexico

Delegates of the 50 states and Puerto Rico received the Welcoming of the Holy Convocation of The Light of the World Church today in Guadalajara, Mexico. This annual celebration congregates over 300 thousand faithful of over 45 nations worldwide.

Believers from 310 delegations of the United States, represented one of the largest groups that attended the invitation of the Apostle of Jesus Christ, Samuel Joaquin Flores, International Director of The Light of the World Church, along with thousands of faithful from other nations gathered in an environment of harmony, free of discrimination.

It is important to note that in the welcoming ceremony, parsons from Israel and Palestine also came together in fellowship without regard to the conflicts and differences between their nations.

The Governor of the state of Jalisco, Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval Díaz, directed a message to the spiritual leader of the church and to the delegates who come to the city of Guadalajara for the occasion of the Holy Convocation. Governor Sandoval Diaz recognized the humanitarian efforts and spiritual leadership that the Apostle of Jesus Christ has achieved through the 50 years of his ministry; labor that has expanded the presence of the church throughout the entire nation of Mexico and far beyond its borders and seas. The Governor included a welcoming to all the national and international delegations to which he wished a happy stay in the capitol of Jalisco.

A significant number of believers from the United States attend the Holy Convocation on August 14 where they will participate of the Holy Supper in commemoration of the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
