    How To Stop Bad Habits & Addictions


    People who are interested in stopping bad habits will find useful  information and strategies in the book, “Banish Bad Habits” by Charlotte  James.  In this book, Charlotte teaches readers the six stages in the  process of breaking bad habits, explains why quitting a habit cold  turkey usually doesn’t work, and gives readers information on how they  can replace bad habits with a healthy new lifestyle.

    When people think of bad habits and also addictions (which are  nothing more than destructive bad habits), they often think of “getting  help.”  This means going to a rehab center, or seeking a professional.   However, there is significant information that suggests that this may  not always be the best way to go.


    Statistics tell us that individuals may have a better chance of  freeing themselves from habits and addictions by taking responsibility  for their own program. Charlotte James, the author from CreateSpace  Independent Publishing describes the problem in this way:
