People of Sinjar Region Iraq Speak Out On ISIS Attacks at the White House
August 8th 2014 at the White House this group of Sinjar Region, Iraqi gentlemen gathered to talk about the tragic events unfolding due to the Isis Islamic extremist troubles plaguing the northeast region of Iraq.
They claim there are more than 100,000 people living in the Sinjar region along the Syrian border where the Islamic State group has terrorized villages. This past week food for 20,000 people had been airdropped, but it is said to fall short of the dire situation at hand.
On August 9th President Obama announced
from the White House lawn that he will send
more aid including airlifting people from the
region, as well as attempting to create a safe
zone corridor along the Syria/Iraq border.
Details on how President Obama plans to enact
such intentions are yet to be explained.
