A little Russian "Humor"...about the Economic Bans

So, the online version of the Moscow Times ran a story a few days back about the impact of recent Russian Bans of EU, USA and others agricultural and food products. The ban will help eastern European countries agricultural markets.......some apparently believe it will benefit the "black market" entrepreneurs as well....

In the story, it described a recent editorial cartoon (no picture of it in the article). The scene is something like this:

A Russian lady is at the local market. She sees mussels and the sign says they're from Belarus.

"That's impossible!" the lady proclaims to the grocer. "Belarus is landlocked, it does not produce mussels!"

The grocer replies: "The sign says they're from Belarus."

"Oh....then I guess they're from Belarus..." accepts the lady.
