Walking the Walk! Military Benefits Association Sponsors Enlisted National Guard Soldiers at the 43rd Annual EANGUS Exposition. Supporting Military Families since 1956
Phoenix-Mesa, AZ - The Military Benefit Association will sponsor the 43rd Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States exposition from Aug. 10, 2014 through Aug. 13, 2014 at the Phoenix Convention Center. MBA will raffle two autographed NFL jerseys and host three social events for conference attendees during the convention.
"We are excited about introducing MBA to this great group of service members. From one not-for-profit organization to another, supporting military members, veterans and their families is our goal," said Roy L. Gibson, MBA President. "MBA is a not-for-profit association, which separates us from many other companies supporting the National Guard. We are designed to support all service members and their families and I think we have been excelling at that since 1956!"
MBA will be hosting three social events at the convention as well. On Sun. Aug 20, 2014, at the "Opening Night Social," they will share hosting duties at the EANGUS Bowling Tournament with the Univ. of Phoenix; at the Lucky Strike Bowling Alley in downtown Phoenix at 5:30 p.m. Monday night, MBA will be the sole sponsor at the Junior Enlisted Event held at the Phoenix, Hard Rock Café at 6:30 p.m. The Hard Rock Café agreed to close their doors to the public so MBA could host the event for EANGUS attendees only. Finally, MBA will host the "All Area Hospitality Night" on Tues., Aug. 11, 2014 at the Papago Park Military Reservation beginning at 6 p.m. This final event is described as one big tailgating party where exhibitors will trade lapel pins, enjoy refreshments and music, said Earl Causbie, Arizona state Chairman for the EANGUS national conference.
"Sponsoring all three social events is our way of giving back and being able to familiarize the conference attendees with MBA," said Gibson. "Additionally, we will get to know these National Guardsman and their families on the convention floor at booth 509 where we will raffle two autographed NFL jerseys from RGIII and Joe Montana. Meet us, sign up for raffle and get a free one-year insurance policy."
MBA will provide any eligible person a free one-year $10,000.00 accidental death and dismemberment insurance policy for simply signing up at booth 509. Those persons will be entered into an MBA raffle for either a Washington Redskin, Robert Griffin III autographed official jersey or a San Francisco 49er, Joe Montana autographed official jersey, complete with certificates of authenticity. The winners will be announced before the conference ends.
Military Benefit Association was originally founded in 1956 to support enlisted service members with their life insurance needs. In 1963 MBA grew to support all military personnel, veterans, federal government employees and member dependents. At MBA, there is one clear mission: to make quality life insurance affordable for everyone. MBA remains true to that mission today.
