    Flycatcher DAD has Returned...

We couldn't be happier, our Flycatcher Dad has returned.  While he was away she has been keeping up her hard work of feeding the babies & sitting & looking & calling for him. She was feeding & then sat on top of the house to rest & chat a bit. All of a sudden the Dad showed up! Oh my I bet she gave him an earfull! Not sure where he was for 3 days, maybe at the nearby golf course Lake with the guys?
No sign of the babies at the door but you can hear their voices are Loud. She feeds them BIG bugs so I'm sure they are growing like little weeds inside there. I'm still 'raining' on the house during the afternoon to cool them off a bit inside.
Photo. No.1 shows the Big winged bugs she has been feeding them.  Also note in this photo what a Sweet Face she has.   Photo. No. 2 shows her with her head inside the house feeding the bug she just caught.  Photo. No. 3 having a look for more bugs.  Photo. No. 4 and she's OFF....   Photo. No. 5 seems to be the DAD just...relaxing.

We were also given a great show tonight, as she was catching the bugs in flight right nearby. She sits & watches a bit then takes off in beautiful flight & catches a bug or two. Fun to watch.

Continuing Baby watch in Southern California High Desert...
