I don't tend to tie my emotions to celebrities, but when My wife texted me that Robin Williams had died, I was overcome with sadness, almost to the point of tears. One of my favorite shows growing up was "Mork and Mindy", the ultimate fish out of water TV show. And to see him be so manic, but never out of control, with his improvisation on talk shows and comedy specials, it was magic. He had an extremely intelligent humor that came out of a seemingly immature personality. I was so proud when he was recognized as an actor, and not just a slapstick comedian, when he won his Oscar. Angie and I even enjoyed his new show "The Crazy Ones", and one of my favorite parts of the show was the bloopers they would show at the end, usually Robin making the rest of the cast crack up. It makes me sad that someone who made so many people laugh could not find happiness himself. Rest in the peace you could not find on this earth, Robin, you will be missed.
