    In Memoriam

    Brought joy to generations

I have been watching Robin Williams since I was six years old and I anticipated the Mork and Mindy TV show every week. I grew up with him and watched his parts evolve from wacky to thoughtful like his role in Fisher King. He distracted me from the heavier parts of my own life with Mrs Doubtfire and The Birdcage and I was impressed by the risks he took with darker roles (Death to Smoochie, and Bicentennial Man) even if they were not his most popular choices. I was delighted when I realized that my own six year old now recognizes him as a favorite from his roles in Hook, Jumanji, Night at the Museum, and his amazing voice talent evidenced in Robots and Aladdin.
It will be heartbreaking to go through this year and next with all of his additional completed work we have yet to see released and know that the talent behind it is gone too soon.
