    In Memoriam

I met him in New York at Grand Central Station

I was 13 and had traveled to New York by train with my mother sisters and Grandmother to visit an Uncle. My mother father and sisters had just came from abroad we had only been in states for a month. Grandma took us to New York staring she would pay for round trip train tickets and once we saw my Uncke we would go back to DC; however she abandoned us in Grand Central with no way home. My mom was crying so hard Robin walked up and began to crack jokes soon we were laughing. Then Robin looks up and he had this deer in the headlights look as a crowd had gathered. He stated hardest room I ever worked and walked off. Then when we get to the train mom was afraid we would be kicked off however the conductor (after ask us for tickets) comes back with tickets and on the back was written Merry Christmas Robin Williams he had made us laugh at our situation and bought our tickets. We never did get to say thank you as we never saw him on the train and never saw him after. Thank you.
